Homely uses an eco-friendly resin called Jesmonite, sourced in Australia, to create each piece.

Each piece has been hand-polished and sealed with food-safe wax for your safety; however, we recommend using all pieces for decoration purposes only.

To keep your piece in its best form, avoid any contact with direct heat sources such as an oven, microwave or dishwasher.

• Clean with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and dry completely. Avoid soaking;
• Avoid exposure to strong chemicals, oils, or cosmetic products;
• Be gentle! Dropping could cause chips, scratches, or breaks;
• Keep in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat;
• Not microwave or dishwasher safe.

All our pieces are made without plastic—we use reusable silicone tools and wash and reuse our equipment to minimise waste. Jesmonite itself is eco-friendly, and all our packaging is also plastic-free and designed to be kind to the environment.

Yes, bubbles on the surface or base are completely normal. Each piece is hand-poured, so you might also notice slight variations in colour and texture. These aren’t faults, but part of what makes every piece unique.

Our resin is made from a mineral base and water-based resin, which can naturally create bubbles during the pouring process. It’s all part of the charm and character of handmade work.
